The Case Study House Program was initiated in Los Angeles in 1945 by Arts and Architecture magazine. It is considered a significant contributor to Mid-Century architecture. The Case Study House #10 was designed and built by Kemper Nomland and Kemper Nomland, Jr. in 1947.
